Cinco de Mayo Siouxland 2008 will include the 5^th Annual Recognition of Outstanding Latino Students graduating from Middle School, High School and from a Siouxland Higher Educational Institution.

This special recognition will take place on Saturday, May 3^rd, 12:00 pm, at the Sioux City Long Lines Family Recreation Center.  Our purpose is to encourage Latino students to pursue higher education and excellence.

Siouxland Unidad Latina (SUL) will award academic scholarships to Latino youth and adults wishing to pursue a college education in the tri-state area.
Scholarship Overview

SUL¡¦s goal is to develop the skills and awareness necessary for effective working relationships among community professionals and businesses in this exciting time of social and cultural change. SUL provides scholarship opportunities to emerging Latino leaders of this region to help achieve this goal. This scholarship fund is made available through the generous support of SUL and private donations.
