It's time to celebrate! Es hora de
celebrar!
Cinco de Mayo 2010!!
Siouxland Unidad Latina invites you Friday, April 30, 2010
and Saturday, May 1, 2010; to join the festivities for the
9th consecutive year.
We'll kick off the festival with our Scholarship Ceremony
and Sponsor and Volunteer Appreciation Reception on Friday,
April 30, 2010.
If interested in being considerate for a $1,000 scholarship
from our organization, please, follow the “Scholarship
Application” link.
On Saturday, May 1, 2010 we open the doors of the Longlines
Family Rec Center, downtown Sioux City, IA, at 12:00 pm,
with the 7th Annual Outstanding Latino Student Recognition
Ceremony. Schools can nominate their students following the
rules in the links “Outstanding Students” and “Outstanding
College Graduates”.
The party will continue until 6:00 pm; free admission.

We have the honor to host the Folkloric Ballet Citlali from
the Autonomous University of Guerrero, Mexico. They will
present briefly during our program on Saturday; but you,
family and friends need to see at least one of their
wonderful performances, with their full program

$5/person, for people
11 and older. – All proceeds will go to our scholarship
fund.
As you are aware, this is our fundraiser for scholarships
for outstanding Latino students; as well as an excellent
scenario to facilitate cultural exchange, promote services
and products, recruit students and employment candidates;
and/or you can come and enjoy good food and entertainment!
